Pair of novice hurdle wins at up to 18.5f last winter. Appeals as one who will take to fences but this is a tough starting point.
Pretty useful winning hurdler who actually achieved better form in defeat over fences last season. Has an experience edge and bold show likely on reappearance.
Didn't manage to build as expected on his hurdle debut last autumn but this 6-y-o from a leading stable retains potential with chasing in mind.
Three novice hurdle wins last season and a point success at the start of his career suggests he can do at least as well over fences this time round. Interesting runner.
Very useful novice hurdler last term, including second to The New Lion in Challow at Newbury and fifth of 20 to Jasmin de Vaux in Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham. Point winner who starts his chase career with his yard in excellent form.

Forecasts
Wendigo (5/4), Wade Out (2/1), Pic Roc (11/4), Excelero (14/1), Pony Soprano (33/1)
A cracking maiden chase to open the card. Jamie Snowden has his team in tremendous form so WENDIGO, who was runner-up in a Grade 1 novice hurdle last season, gets the nod to make a winning start over fences. Pic Roc is 0-6 over the larger obstacles but does have useful form and might provide the main threat ahead of Wade Out.
