Much improved since joining Susan Corbett, scoring 4 times (at up to 25.3f) over hurdles in 2023/24. Failed to recapture that form last season however, and his record fresh isn't particularly inspiring.

Made all in 17f Carlisle novice (soft) on reappearance last season. However, added to a patchy record returning from 5 months off when merely closing up late in 12-runner handicap here 27 days ago.
Arrives in fine form, producing her best effort yet when winning 8-runner handicap hurdle at this C&D (good, 9/4) 43 days ago by 6½ lengths from Artic Mann, quickening 2 out and unchallenged. Has to be taken seriously in follow-up bid from 7 lb higher mark.
Left previous efforts behind to defy unflattering odds in 12-runner handicap at Hexham in April, benefiting from a sharper jumping display in first-time cheekpieces. Progressed again in splitting a pair of next-time-out winners there the following month, so of interest on this return to action.
Ended last season on a disappointing note but made a successful reappearance at Hexham last October from a 5 lb higher mark, so dangerous to dismiss.
Fair winning chaser who can't be ruled out back over hurdles given he remains relatively lightly raced for current yard.
Made it 3 wins from his last 5 starts in 10-runner handicap hurdle at this C&D (good to soft) 27 days ago. Sean Bowen retains the ride and looks sure to go well again.
Proved better than ever when doubling her tally in 13-runner handicap at Ayr (24.3f) in February and shaped as if still in good form under a change of tactics when fourth of 11 in a C&D handicap in April, wilting late on. Returns from a 6-month absence and may just need the run.
C&D winner who arrives in decent nick, fourth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Carlisle (20f, good to firm) 5 days ago, barely adequate test. Possibilities with the step back up in trip in his favour.

Forecasts
Spit Spot (5/2), Stiletto (10/3), I Wish You (4/1), Coffeys Forge (6/1), Dalileo (9/1), Maura Jeanne (12/1), Artic Mann (12/1), Blakey Boy (16/1), Shoeshine Boy (16/1), Asa (25/1), Champ Royal (40/1)
SPIT SPOT won a race that rather fell apart over C&D last month, but she was in control from some way out nevertheless and could well be capable of defying a 7 lb higher mark. Blakey Boy split a pair of next-time-out winners at Hexham when last seen and has to be of interest on this return to action, with the better-than-ever Stiletto also feared.
