Began last season with a bang, winning handicaps at Ripon/Newmarket. Drawn a blank since but solid efforts both outings this term, latterly starting out for new yard when fourth of 13 in Mallard handicap at Doncaster (14.5f) 39 days ago. Respected back on all-weather.
All 4 career starts here, producing a useful effort when scoring on handicap debut (10.2f) in August, in the process edging out a next-time-out winner. Nothing wrong with his subsequent third in handicap kept to that trip 23 days ago and he appeals as the type to go well again upped in distance.
Promising type who made it second time lucky in novice here (10.2f) in March. Placed both outings since, albeit not giving his rider much assistance under pressure when third of 9 in handicap at Leicester (11.8f, good) 14 days ago. Still, he remains of interest, including back on AW.
Proved well suited by the step up in trip when readily doubling his tally in 4-runner handicap at Salisbury (12f) in June. Similar form when fourth at Goodwood (12f) next time and this looks more suitable having finished down the field in the Melrose at York (13.8f) on his latest outing.
6-time course winner who had been running well below par in recent weeks but bounced back to form and highlighted his versatility in the process when winning 12-runner handicap at Ayr (7.2f) 31 days ago. Seen to goof effect on that occasion however, and this more demanding back up in class.

Forecasts
Warrant Holder (4/5), Maxi King (9/2), Cape Breton (9/2), Bragbor (5/1), Midnight Lion (28/1)
WARRANT HOLDER didn't entirely convince with his application under pressure at Leicester 14 days ago, yet his profile prior to that is very much a positive one, so he's given a tentative vote to step forward again back on all-weather. Bragbor and Maxi King may well emerge as the lead threats in a competitive opener.
