14/1

Comfortable winner of sole outing in points but only sixth of 8 in bumper at Market Rasen (16.6f, soft) on Rules debut in December. Shaped a bit better sent hurdling in a first-time hood a Taunton the following month but looks more one for handicaps later on. Has had a breathing operation.

Form: 1/68-

Purple Owl²³²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Jack Tudor| T: D Pipe

18/1

Bought for £60,000 after winning last of 3 starts in Irish points (Oct 2024) but was brushed aside pretty easily in a Taunton bumper on NH debut in February.

Form: 4/P15-

Shabalko D'herm²¹⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| BFWS

1/1

£140,000 purchase after easily winning an Irish point and shaped encouragingly (hooded) when second in a small-field bumper at Market Rasen on Rules debut in March. Had breathing operation since and one to note now switching to hurdling for in-form yard.

Form: 12-

Times A Wastin³²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: J J Burke| T: F O'Brien

Fair bumpers but yet to match that form over hurdles, including on first run since leaving Nigel Slevin when fifth of 13 in maiden at Worcester (16f, soft) 32 days ago.

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Kielan Woods| T: F O'Brien| D

6/4

Improved another chunk when making all in 6-runnner bumper at Wetherby (16f, good) in March. Is a good sort physically and seems sure to do well over jumps.

300/1

Well held in bumper/novice hurdle.

Forecasts

Shabalko D'herm (1/1), Storming George (1/1), White Riot (6/4), Times A Wastin (6/1), Kykorock (14/1), Purple Owl (18/1), Get In Order (22/1), Kellebelle (300/1), Vinnie O'Neil (400/1)

STORM GEORGE built on a taking debut win when fifth in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in the spring, so he makes plenty of appeal now switching to hurdling. White Riot also progressed well in the bumper sphere and seems sure to do well over jumps given his physique, with Shabalko D'herm another to note for an in-form stable.
