In good form recently, winning two of last four starts in sellers and handicaps. Won a 4-runner seller at Musselburgh (1/3) 16 days ago, dictating before being shaken up 2f out and keeping on to make the most of a golden opportunity. Could get the run of the race again.

Won a claimer at Chester in August (Empirestateofmind back in third). Best forgiven latest eighth of 9 in handicap at Ayr (12/1) 17 days ago, never involved having been poorly placed. Ought to be competitive dropped into selling company.

Made a winning reappearance at Doncaster (7f, good) in March but hasn't progressed. Small step back in the right direction when sixth of 13 at this C&D (8/1) 19 days ago struggling when hampered final furlong. Remains to be seen whether this quirky sort can build on that performance.

Creditable handicap form with two thirds in July but ran no sort of race on second start off a break, finishing last of 12 in handicap at Nottingham 15 days ago, folding tamely. Has previous course and distance winning form and cannot be discounted in selling company with Hollie Doyle back aboard.

Fairly useful all-weather performer at his best with 2 course/distance wins but winless since February. Out of sorts recently, never landed a blow when sixth at Southwell last time after a slow start. Respected on first run in a seller on the all-weather.

Course winner isn't the most straightforward but arrives in good heart, finished fourth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (4/1) 27 days ago, making late headway after being held up. Return of headgear is a positive on first start in selling company and he's one to consider under a good-value apprentice.

A trappy race. LOOK BACK SMILING comes with risks attached but the return of headgear may see him get his head in front on first start in a seller. Empirestateofmind arrives in good form and would be a threat to all if again able to dictate a small field, while Cephalus is a fairly useful all-weather performer at his best and has claims if revitalised by a drop in class.
