Back on track refitted with a tongue strap in the autumn, winning 2m handicaps at Kelso and this venue. Ended campaign with a heavy defeat (rider also failed to weigh in) but sure to be well prepared for this chase debut/reappearance and he's built for the larger obstacles.

Better than ever following a breathing operation when winning at Uttoxeter in July 2024. Form tailed off towards the end of last season but much better effort second try over fences when second of 3 at Worcester 3 weeks ago, edged out on line. This looks a good opportunity.
