A chaser on looks and impressive when scoring on return/debut over fences in this race a year ago. Made the most of a good opportunity to double chase tally in a match in February before having excuses in big-field festival handicaps. Sound-enough return when second at Kelso a month ago. Fair shout.
Flat/hurdle winner who has taken to fences better than might have been expected given his physique/Flat background, winning 2m handicaps at Taunton in January and Chepstow. Closing when falling 3 out at Ayr in April and in the right hands ahead of reappearance.
Veteran who had a very up and down 2024 but capitalised on much-reduced mark after 5 months off at Cartmel (17.3f) in May. Placed next 2 starts but shaped as though amiss at Stratford in July.
Versatile veteran who arrives on a losing run, keeping on at the one pace when fourth of 10 at Uttoxeter a month ago. Blinkers replace cheekpieces.

Forecasts
Primoz (4/6), Torneo (2/1), Parisencore (6/1), El Borracho (12/1), Sir Tivo (14/1)
PRIMOZ hasn't progressed as perhaps expected given he created a fine impression when winning this race a year ago. His reappearance was sound-enough though and with no fitness concerns, he could be the answer. Second-season chaser Torneo heads the opposition.
