It will look significant if DERRY LAD attracts support on his first start over hurdles for the Emmet Mullins yard and, if that proves to be the case, the hint should be taken. The 7-y-o didn't shape at all badly in a big-field Leopardstown novices' handicap when last seen in this sphere back in 2023 and, though safely held at Roscommon last time, he has shown promise for his new yard on the Flat this year. Oh Janey can improve now handicapping and is second choice ahead of Oh So Charming.
