Art Of Diplomacy^p²¹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-12| J: James Bowen| T: M Bowen| OR: 137| D

11/4

Fantastic overall strike rate and has won his last 5 in this sphere, most recently landing the odds with minimum fuss in a match at Newton Abbot (21f, soft). Clearly in good order and merits respect, but he meets the majority of these on unfavourable terms.

Coco Mademoiselle¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton| OR: 139| C| D

11/10

Winning Irish pointer who has tasted success 6 times overall from 15 starts under Rules. Merely scraped home when odds on in a 3-runner Warwick novice chase (23f, good to soft) back from a break recently, but she's better than that and she's the one to beat on these terms.

Form: 2U1-101

Knight Of Allen²⁰³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: C Gethings| T: Mrs J Williams| OR: 122| C

2/1

Low-mileage 5-y-o who signed off last season by winning a Ffos Las novice hurdle (2½m, good to soft) in March. Half-brother to the same connections' useful chaser Galahad Quest and should have a future in this sphere, too.

Forecasts

Coco Mademoiselle (11/10), Knight Of Allen (2/1), Art Of Diplomacy (11/4), Double Powerful (4/1), Welcom To Cartries (9/2)

The progress DOUBLE POWERFUL made last season was nothing short of remarkable and, judged on his fine third in a big handicap at the Aintree Grand National meeting during the spring, it's unlikely that he has reached his ceiling just yet. He could prove a tough nut to crack if his jumping passes the test now switched to fences. Both of Welcom To Cartries' appearances over fences have been in graded company and, along with Coco Mademoiselle, he is greatly respected at this level.
