In good form over hurdles around the turn of the year and she took her form up a notch over fences thereafter finishing runner-up either side of victories at Exeter and latterly Cheltenham (25.2f) in April. Likeable type who commands respect on this return from 6 months off.
Made a successful stable debut in a small-field at Wincanton (20.1f) in March and in-the-frame on 3 of her 4 starts since, off 4 months/had wind surgery prior to finishing an encouraging third of 6 in handicap chase at Fontwell (19.5f) 18 days ago. That ought to have put her spot on ahead of this.
Taken well to chasing, scoring 3 times (at up to 25.1f) this year and hard to knock consistency in defeat since, equipped with cheekpieces when third of 9 in handicap chase at Uttoxeter (20f) 86 days ago. Changed hands for £10,000 thereafter and no reason why she won't remain competitive.
Won a maiden hurdle on debut at Worcester in September 2024 and better form in defeat in handicaps this summer. Under change of tactics, offered something to work on sent chasing when fourth of 7 in handicap at Worcester (23f) 5 weeks ago and strong suspicion there's more to come in this sphere.
Versatile, ex-Irish mare who resumed winning ways over fences at Punchestown (22f) in February. Didn't quite scale same heights in trio of starts over fences/hurdles thereafter during the spring for Gavin Cromwell but she's joined another very good yard ahead of return. Market can likely guide.
Dual hurdles winner last season and made a successful chase debut in handicap at Leicester (22.7f, soft) in December. Only disappointment in 4 starts thereafter came on testing ground and she ran well when third behind Minniemum at Cheltenham in April. Respected back down in trip/following wind op.
Dual chase winner last term (including over C&D) who posted easily her best effort since when second of 5 in mares' handicap chase at Stratford (19.5f) in May. However, she didn't really fire either outing in June and expected to find a few too good now returning from a break.

Lahinch Wave (13/8), Somespring Special (3/1), Kosasiempre (4/1), Theonewedreamof (11/2), Springs A Girl (7/1), Minniemum (14/1), Fancy Stuff (20/1), Lady Jago (22/1)
An interesting mares' handicap chase with the market likely to prove informative in assessing a host on their respective seasonal returns. With that in mind, SOMESPRING SPECIAL marked herself out as one to be interested in when third at Fontwell 18 days ago and earns the vote. Lahinch Wave hinted at better to come herself as a chaser when fourth at Worcester recently and has to be respected. Likeable 8-y-o Minniemum and Theonewedreamof complete the shortlist.
