Bred more for stamina than speed and looked one for the longer term when finishing last of 9 at Perth on debut in August.

No Risk At All filly from the family of fairly useful hurdler/smart chaser in France (stayed 23f) Polidam. Folded tamely on her Wincanton debut but left that form well behind fitted with a tongue strap when runner-up at Hexham (16.2f) 6 weeks ago. Sets the standard.

Forecasts

Opale De Maine (2/5), Dotties Promise (9/4), Skittish (11/4), Dreaming Of The Dr (7/1), Hashtag Queen (14/1), Milano Lady (18/1), Capricciose (20/1), Nannymooresbridge (50/1)

Verdict

OPALE DE MAINE was much improved from her debut fitted with a tongue strap when second at Hexham in August and this looks an excellent opportunity for her to go one better. Dotties Promise needs more under a penalty, so Dreaming of The Dr, a newcomer from a respected yard, may emerge as the chief threat.
