4/9

Ran five consecutive seconds in flat handicaps during summer. Won maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter (6/4) 22 days ago, blundered first but tracked pace, led approaching second last and won readily by 4½ lengths. Can prove similarly useful over hurdles and likely to be suited by this slightly longer trip.

Forecasts

Percy Shelley (4/9), Maldini Milano (7/4)

PERCY SHELLEY and Maldini Milano both made a decent start to their hurdles career recently but the former looked more of a natural in the jumping department so is taken to defy a penalty.
