Scored over hurdles here in November and ran right up to form when second of 6 over C&D in June. Prone to mistakes over fences and was never a factor at Worcester 3 weeks later.

Showed the immediate benefit of a switch to James Owen with a comfortable Stratford success in August. Too free back at that venue next time but quickly back on the up when a comfortable scorer at Plumpton fitted with a tongue tie 11 days ago. Major claims back over fences.
Had a prolific spell at Sedgefield this time last year but little to shout about in recent starts. Is now back on last winning mark, at least.
Finally off the mark in handicap chase at Sedgefield in April. Found good run of form coming to a halt at Stratford the following month and off since.
Veteran who ended a long losing run in a very weak race off a career-low mark at Fakenham (2m) in June. Creditable efforts in defeat since.
Lost his way in Ireland and no promise in 7 starts for current connections.

No surprise were this dominated by recent hurdles winners JET PATROL and Lightning Flash, who have the same mark to exploit over fences. Marginal preference is for the James Owen-inmate.
