Bright start for new yard when fourth at Catterick (13.9f) 3 weeks ago and built on that when winning 5-runner handicap at Newcastle (16.2f) 4 days ago, displaying a good attitude in the process. That ought not to prove her limit over staying trips and she's a player under a penalty.

Solid start for new stable, taking advantage of a career-low mark when landing 6-runner handicap at Redcar (14f) last month. May not have been ideally suited by making the running when last of 5 in handicap back over that C&D 2 weeks ago and bounce back anticipated. Hood back on.

Little impact in either code since leaving the Kerry Lee yard (sold for £4,000) weakening quickly when well beaten fifth of 7 in handicap at Pontefract (17.1f, soft, 18/1) 11 days ago. Hard to fancy.

Son of Galiway who showed more than on debut when fifth in an 11f maiden here in August. Ran some way below that level when fifth of 7 in novice at Ffos Las (12f, good) 32 days ago but he's in good hands and progress certainly not ruled out now his attentions switch to handicaps.

Displayed a modicum of promise on third start in novice company but produced a rather laboured effort when fourth of 8 in handicap at Ffos Las (10f, soft) 31 days ago, never travelling well. Marked increase in trip needs to have positive effect now and booking of Tom Marquand catches the eye.

Seventeen runs since last win in 2020. 28/1, bit below form sixth of 14 in handicap at Windsor (11.4f, good) 21 days ago. Steps up significantly in trip now but others appeal more.

Forecasts

Big Win (11/10), Universal Story (13/8), Spectacular Style (9/1), Rose Warrior (9/1), Wasthatok (33/1), Mond (40/1)

Verdict

UNIVERSAL STORY cemented the positive start for her new yard when opening her account over this trip at Newcastle 4 days ago and, remaining with potential for better still at staying trips, she looks to hold solid claims under a penalty. Spectacular Style is probably best forgiven his latest run and can also be expected to feature. Big Win and Rose Warrior aren't out of things either.
