Found his confidence again at the start of the summer, completing a hat-trick (1 seller, 2 handicaps). Even better form when second at Perth in July and not seen to best effort (short of room home turn) when fifth at Bangor (23f) latest.

After 5 months off (had breathing operation) with cheekpieces on first time, produced a career best when winning 9-runner C&D handicap (good to soft) in May. Creditable fifth of 11 at Market Rasen 3 months later.
Likeable veteran has never been better, completing a 4-timer between April and June, with the last 2 legs over C&D. Didn't seem to enjoy himself back chasing here in July and better can be expected back over the smaller obstacles.
Successful 3 times in 2024. As good as ever on second outing back this season when second of 7 over 26.5f at Newton Abbot 10 weeks ago. Should remain competitive off 2 lb higher.
Has proved better than ever in his second season with Dan Skelton, shaping well when runner-up twice before landing a 23f Uttoxeter handicap in July. Shaped as if still in good form when fourth at Bangor under a 7 lb claimer 3 weeks ago. Harry Skelton back on board now. Player.
Has drawn a blank since a 3m Kempton success in spring 2024. Did go close at Market Rasen (23f) last month but not in the same form when a place behind Matchless at Bangor (23f) 3 weeks ago.
Produced a career best to double his career tally at Hereford (25.5f) in December. Pulled up at Wincanton next time but back on form when second at Huntingdon (25f) in February. Off 7 months and he needed his reappearance last season.
Well held on 2½m course handicap debut for the Jonjo & A.J O'Neill stable in June but some promise when second in a Huntingdon maiden prior to that and has joined an in-form stable ahead of this first outing for 3 months. Interesting to see what the betting makes of him.

Forecasts
Theatre Of Flight (5/4), Gustoso (13/2), I'm A Starman (13/2), Ernest Gray (7/1), Supreme Yeats (7/1), Matchless (10/1), Halifax (11/1), Sam's Amour (16/1)
A tight staying handicap in which the suggestion is SUPREME YEATS with Harry Skelton back on board. I'm A Starman is going for 5 in a row over hurdles and is second choice ahead of Matchless, another who has had a fine spell of late and had an excuse when only fifth last time.
- I'm A Starman13/2
- Matchless10/1
