Three chase wins last season but below par in 2 outings at Bangor at the start of the summer and reverted to hurdles after 3 months off at Stratford. Others appeal more.
A modest winner at 17f over hurdles but he came in a well-held third of 4 in handicap chase at Fontwell (17.8f, good) on his debut over fences 28 days ago. Needs to take a big step forward.
Made an excellent start over fences for new yard this season, completing hat-trick over C&D in June. Added a fourth victory back over C&D last time, making all and always holding on. Up another 3 lb but not taken lightly.
Improver on the back of a breathing operation, landing pair of Newton Abbot handicap hurdles in the summer. Only fifth of 9 back there last time but still much respected now going chasing.
A fair maiden on Flat and easily got off the mark on just his second chase start at Southwell (2m) in June. Advanced his form when 1¼ lengths second of 11 to Rocks Up Late over C&D 37 days ago, faring best of those held up. Big shout on 2 lb better terms here.
Fair Flat/hurdles winner for Alan King but largely below par for his current yard. Needs to step forward on his first go over fences.
Maiden pointer who posted his best effort in novice hurdles when fifth of 8 at Newton Abbot (2m) 17 days ago. More is required on his first go in this sphere.
Went backwards from a positive reappearance fourth when pulled up in handicap hurdle at Stratford (22f, soft) 68 days ago. Something to prove back chasing now.
On a losing run but he posted a respectable fourth of 10 in handicap chase at Warwick (2m) in April on his final run for Suzy Smith. Merits consideration after a break for his new handler.
C&D winner but he's a quirky sort and hung badly left late on when third of 6 in handicap chase over C&D 21 days ago. Others appeal more for win purposes.
Poor maiden hurdler/chaser. Fair fifth of 6 in handicap chase over C&D 21 days ago but she's 10 lb "wrong" in the weights here.

Forecasts
Superstylin (5/2), Rocks Up Late (11/4), Alshadhian (4/1), Gore Point (7/1), Gerard Mentor (15/2), Claim Du Brizais (12/1), Whispering Royal (20/1), Famoso (22/1), Supreme George (25/1), Floating Rock (25/1), Majestic Moment (50/1), Mo Zola (50/1)
Not as competitive as the numbers suggest and ALSHADHIAN is fancied to resume winning ways and turn the tables on his recent conqueror here Rocks Up Late on these more advantageous terms. Ben Pauling's five-year-old still rates a big threat in his bid to garner a fifth victory of the season, while Chris Gordon's new recruit Superstylin and chasing debutant Gore Point also need factoring in.
