Proving hard to catch right, highlighted by his losing run, but he did at least offer something to work on at Galway on his comeback run 8 weeks ago and was fourth off this mark in the Plate Handicap at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
Useful hurdler/chaser who was in the process of running well when carried out by a loose horse at Galway 16 days ago. Must be respected back in this sphere.
Initially progressive over fences last season, supplementing his Kelso success in fine style at Ayr. Campaign fizzled out since but no surprise if he bounced back refreshed from a break and with headgear applied.
All 5 of his career wins over fences have come at Perth, including when justifying support over this trip in June. Found Summer Plate at Market Rasen too competitive since and likely to bounce back.
A 4-time C&D winner but shaped as if amiss at Uttoxeter in July and ran no sort of race back here subsequently. Bit to prove now.

Forecasts
Statuario (9/4), Whistle Stop Tour (3/1), Yeats Star (10/3), Wasdell Dundalk (11/2), Mars Harper (6/1)
WHISTLE STOP TOUR ended last season with a whimper but he'd looked a smart prospect when winning at Ayr at the start of the year so he's not one to be giving up on just yet with headgear applied for this comeback run. Statuario has an excellent record in small fields around here and is only 1 lb higher for his C&D success in June.
