C&D winner who is on a losing run but she fared better than of late from further reduced mark when good second of 9 in handicap at Chelmsford City (5f) 24 days ago. Tongue strap back on and she'll be a danger to all with a repeat.
3-y-o who is 2-2 on all-weather, his latest success coming in dominant fashion over C&D at the start of the month. Ran best race to date on turf when second of 8 in handicap (7/2) at Leicester (5f, firm) 12 days ago and she looks a big player back here.
Had a very productive August, winning 3 times on turf and confirmed she remains at the top of her game of late, shaping better than distance beaten suggests when fourth of 9 in handicap (14/1) at Musselburgh (5f, good) 7 days ago. Looks set to give another good account of herself.
Course winner. 4 wins from 18 runs this year. Very good second of 11 in handicap (4/1) at Beverley (5f, good) 22 days ago, keeping on final 1f. Thrived on his racing this season and he's another commanding respect for all his mark has crept up a little more.
6f winner as a 2-y-o for Ed Walker and bright start for new yard on AW last winter. Recent exploits have been underwhelming but he did at least show good speed for a long way when eighth of 11 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 25 days ago. Drop back to 5f looks a good move with blinkers fitted.
Seventeen runs since last win in 2024. 28/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Thirsk (6f, good to firm) in June, never on terms. Higher mark to contend with back on AW and percentage call is to look elsewhere on this return from 96 days off.
Winner at Yarmouth in June. Below form fourth of 8 in handicap (15/2) at Goodwood (5f, heavy) 19 days ago, unable to sustain effort on the testing ground. Visor on 1st time and this rates less demanding.
Course winner. 3 wins from 8 runs this year. Creditable second of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5.1f, 4/1) 15 days ago. May sharpen up for that given it was his first start for 4 months
C&D winner. Latest win at Leicester in April. 9/1, last of 6 in handicap at Windsor (5.1f, good to firm) 55 days ag, weakening final 1f. Needs to bounce back.
Arrives here on a losing run of fifteen but plenty of creditable efforts to his name this season, blinkers enlisted (retained here) when third of 9 in handicap at Musselburgh (5f) 7 days ago. Remains lightly raced on artificial surfaces and no doubting he's on a workable mark.
Course winner. Eighth of 12 in handicap (12/1) at this course (6.1f) 51 days ago, weakening final 1f. Given a chance by the assessor ahead of this but others look to hold more pressing claims.
3 wins from 12 runs this year. Latest win at Doncaster in July. Bit below form sixth of 10 in handicap (9/2) at Redcar (6f, good) 29 days ago, no extra final 1f. Needs to pull out a bit more from this sort of mark.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. 11/1 and blinkered for 1st time, ran respectably without being seen to best effect when fifth of 10 in handicap at Beverley (5f, good to firm) 28 days ago, left poorly placed. Takes a handy drop in grade here and he's certainly one to bear in mind.
It's now nineteen runs since last win in 2024 but latest run best excused when sixth of 8 in handicap at Leicester (5f, firm, 5/1) 12 days ago, having worst of the draw/finding race not run to suit. Cheekpieces back on and he's dangerously well treated if everything clicks.

Forecasts
Spirit Of Applause (10/3), Grace Angel (13/2), Tanjen (13/2), Knicks (15/2), Speed Of Maajid (9/1), Sugar Baby (9/1), Catch Cunningham (10/1), Smooth Silesie (12/1), Blue Lakota (12/1), Ardennes (12/1), King's Crown (14/1), Phoenix Beach (25/1), Dark Kestrel (33/1), Jungle Run (33/1)
Unsurprisingly no shortage of chances with KNICKS given the narrow vote to come out on top. He's knocked firmly on the door on turf twice this season and undoubtedly lurks on an exploitable mark provided he proves as effective back on the AW. Tim Easterby holds a strong hand here with Tanjen (2-2 on AW) and class-dropping Spirit of Applause also shortlisted. Catch Cunningham and Grace Angel are others to factor in, too.
