Progressive in 2024, ending season with a good third in listed company at Goodwood and acquitted himself respectably kept to that level on his first 2 starts this year. Shade disappointing when only eighth of 13 in handicap (10/3) at Epsom (10.1f, good to soft) but this track should suit better.
Highly-progressive 2-y-o, culminating with a listed win in France. Not beaten far when fifth at Hamilton in similar company on his penultimate outing but disappointing sent back across the Channel to Clairefontaine last time out, albeit quick ground perhaps not suiting him. Makes handicap debut.
Runner-up in four consecutive races including when finishing clear second in a deep handicap field at Newbury (10f) in May. Shaped as if back in top form under an overly-patient ride at Chelmsford City (10f, 5/2) 37 days ago and remains of serious interest from this mark.
Goes well with cut in the ground, including a Newbury win last autumn. Respectable efforts in defeat in similar conditions on his last 2 outings and he can give a good account without posing a serious threat to the principals again.
Recorded a hat-trick last summer and ran creditably when staying on from rear into third at Chepstow last month. Left poorly placed after a customary slow break at Southwell last time and that issue remains a concern for all he's clearly on a competitive mark.
Notched a fourth course success at Ripon in July and backed that up with a good second at Chester next time. On the retreat when badly hampered back at Ripon last time and he'll likely need a career best to defy this mark.
Looked potentially useful when beating a previous winner to make a belated winning debut at Thirsk in July. Matched previous form in defeat both starts since and will likely need to find some progress for the longer trip to make a winning handicap bow.
Won his first 2 starts for this yard on joining from Denis Hogan and has largely remained in good form since, again shaping well when third of 8 in handicap at Hamilton (12.1f, good to firm) 22 days ago. Sound claims again.
Largely progressive form since debut, albeit he seems to have the odd quirk and was rather outbattled when edged out in a Musselburgh handicap in June. Application again looked a concern when only seventh of 8 in handicap (12/1) at Newmarket (10f, good to firm) and others are preferred.

Botanical (5/2), Sovereign Sea (4/1), Regalian (5/1), Sportingsilvermine (6/1), Fantasy Believer (9/1), Mustazeed (12/1), Square D'alboni (12/1), Our Golden One (12/1), Divine Knight (16/1), Ey Up Its The Boss (16/1)
SOVEREIGN SEA shaped with plenty of encouragement when runner-up in a hot Newbury handicap on his return and looked right back on track having been left with too much to do at Chelmsford so gets the verdict ahead of Botanical, whose prior efforts in listed company mean he remains of interest from this mark having looked somewhat unsuited by Epsom's idiosyncrasies last time. Sportingsilvermine is holding his form well and can complete the placings.
