Verdict

Lightly-raced 4-y-o SIR EDWARD LEAR bounced back to form with a good win at Newmarket, settling better and responding well. The first-time visor could sharpen him up further and he's fancied to follow up back up in trip. Secret Beach shaped well from an unpromising position at Windsor on his most recent outing and deserves respect, while Kokinelli could also have a say if bouncing back from a below-par effort at Beverley.

  1. SIR EDWARD LEAR
  2. SECRET BEACH (IRE)
  3. KOKINELLI (FR)
