Standout effort this term when going close at Newmarket in July. Not beaten far again in a hot handicap at York last month although didn't look back in top form. Down another 2 lb and drops in class.

Readily opened his account in 6-runner maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, good) in May. Went close over 1m on quick ground here next time and shaped as if still in form in hot Goodwood handicap next time. Could have more to offer.

Scored at Sandown in June and has continued in form, running well at Hamilton last time despite things again not showing him to best effect (needed more of an emphasis on stamina). Could figure.

Won Salisbury (10f) maiden on final start for previous yard in June and good efforts for new yard at Newmarket and Goodwood, well positioned and beaten just a head latest. This is tougher but stronger headgear goes on.

Made a successful debut when landing a 7-runner novice at Newbury (7f, soft, 5/2) a year ago and fair run upped in trip at Doncaster on return this summer. Excuses when well held in valuable sales race at Deauville last time and remains with potential.

Having been gelded, confirmed previous promise and justified good support to make a winning handicap debut at Ayr (10f) in July. 6 lb rise could be very generous for this expensive well-bred sort who has emerged as the favourite for the Cambridgeshire.
