Age: 4| Weight: 11-9| J: Toby McCain-Mitchell⁽⁷⁾| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 122

4/6

Not straightforward (ran out on hurdle debut) but has raised his game this summer, winning twice over 2m at Worcester before chasing home a very progressive type back up in trip at Market Rasen (20.6f, good) last time. Leading claims, despite conceding weight all round.

Queensworthy⁶⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Atkins⁽⁷⁾| T: D Skelton

10/3

Runner-up sole in Irish point and winner of a Southwell bumper and Market Rasen mares' maiden hurdle in May/June. Still going well there when falling 3 out upped to 2½m at Uttoxeter last time and she's a very strong candidate with further progress possible.

Form: 2-11F

Start Again^t1¹³⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Kielan Woods| T: F O'Brien

9/1

Didn't show a great deal in points and the form of his hurdles debut second in a 2m Plumpton maiden during the spring has a distinctly suspect look to it. Tongue tie tried but others preferred.

Form: 7P272-

Old Bridge^h,t¹⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-11| J: Jack Tudor| T: D Pipe| OR: 108

13/2

Initially failed to build on his promising debut for this yard here in May but back on track the last twice. latterly going down narrowly in a 2½m Worcester novice (good). Should make his presence felt once again.

Form: 764422

La Lolita¹⁶

Age: 4| Weight: 10-4| J: Alan Doyle⁽⁵⁾| T: G Hanmer

40/1

Produced her best effort yet when third in a 15-runner Worcester novice (2m, good) recently, leaving the impression that this step up in trip will be in her favour. Still, she will need to take a significant step forward in order to emerge on top here.

Forecasts

Intosomethinggood (4/6), Queensworthy (10/3), Old Bridge (13/2), Start Again (9/1), La Lolita (40/1), Reliance Kid (100/1)

It's unlikely that QUEENSWORTHY would've got to grips with Laravie had she stayed on all fours at Uttoxeter, but there would have been no disgrace in that given the winner's progressive profile and this 5-y-o shades preference ahead of Intosomethinggood and Old Bridge.
