Seemingly flattered when gaining latest success at Southwell in March, a race that fell apart with 2 of the first 3 in the betting failing to complete. That aid, he's twice finished runner-up since at Cartmel and he's likely to be sticking to his task.

Back to his best with a wide-margin success at Market Rasen (3m, heavy) last month and followed that with another good effort over same C&D when runner-up off 4 lb higher. Seems to be versatile in terms of conditions and he's likely to give it another good go.

Failed to win a race in Ireland, ninth of 13 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (21.8f, good to firm) 43 days ago on final star for John Joseph Hanlon. Makes handicap chase/stable debut with a tongue tie replacing cheekpieces and the market should be informative.

Irish point winner who has yet to strike under Rules, but it's surely a matter of time before she puts that right judged on a series of creditable efforts in handicaps at up to around 3m since returning from a break in March. Switches to fences and she rates a major player.

Losing run continues to mount, but it was a good effort at Uttoxeter (3¼m, good) last month where he found just one too good in a 10-runner handicap. Blinkers fitted and he underlinded inconsistency at Market Rasen 11 days ago.

Came good over hurdles in a first-time tongue tie at Ayr (20.5f) in February. Not in the same form since, however, including on last month's chase debut but he's fancied to come on for that experience. Back up in trip.

Still a maiden but produced best effort to date over fences reverting to more positive tactics when 3½ lengths third of 12 to Ballydangan in a C&D handicap in June. Reportedly broke a blood vessel when pulled up at Cartmel latest.

The two interesting contenders are arguably chase debutantes KILLYBEGS JET LADY and Sir Carnegie. The latter has the assistance of Sean Bowen equipped with a tongue tie for the first time but the former is a winning pointer who has been in reasonable order this summer so she gets the vote. Ribeye should run his race again.
