Useful hurdler/chaser for Henry de Bromhead earlier in his career but below par in a hurdle/chase for new yard since returning from a 2-year absence, finishing a remote fourth over fences at Market Rasen latterly.
Won 3 in a row last spring/summer. Back on form when second in a 21f Newton Abbot hunter chase in May but disappointed back in handicap company at Market Rasen last month.
Three wins around 2m in the first half of last season but hasn't been in the same form more recently, beaten 14 lengths when fourth of 6 at Perth (3m) last time.
In good form this summer, winning handicap hurdle and chase over 2½m. Possibly just stretched by the 23f when third in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter last time so this slightly shorter trip should be ideal on this return to fences.
Former C&D winner who got his head back in front at Newcastle in February. Backed that up with a fine second over C&D in May but he wasn't in the same form when fifth back here in June.
Two wins at Kelso under Brian Hughes last season, latterly over 3m in April. Third in 3m chases at Perth this summer and ought to be competitive on his first visit to Cartmel.
Good second of 7 in 17f course handicap chase 5 weeks ago but ran poorly in first-time tongue tie back here on Saturday.
Won first 2 starts over fences in 2024/25 and has been shaping up well this season, with his latest 3m Market Rasen fourth coming in a good race for the grade. Likely to be competitive again.
Made it 2-2 over fences when coming with a strong run to lead close home and No But I Will (Sean Og third) by ½ length over C&D (good to soft) 37 days ago. A 2 lb nudge may not stop her with further progress likely.
Course regular who won a brace of C&D novice handicaps last summer but he hasn't been in the same form this time round, beaten just over 18 lengths into fourth by No But I Will over 17f here on Saturday.
Won this race last year and added another C&D win in June. Good length third of 9 to River of Joy over C&D 37 days ago.

Forecasts
River Of Joy (13/8), No But I Will (3/1), Sean Og (9/2), Ile De Jersey (11/2), Nickelforce (15/2), Jelski (8/1), Cuzco Du Mathan (12/1), Arthur's Quay (16/1), Yccs Portocervo (18/1), Hurricane Ali (18/1), Breizh River (18/1), Half Shot (22/1), Champagne Gold (33/1)
RIVER OF JOY did well to get up near the finish over C&D last time and can defy a 2 lb nudge and remain unbeaten over fences. Sean Og, who won this last year, was only a length behind the selection in third last time and can provide the chief threat ahead of Ile de Jersey and Nickelforce.
