Useful handicap hurdler who was equipped with a tongue strap for 1st time and possibly found the competition too hot when fifteenth of 19 in handicap hurdle at Galway (16f, good to soft) 23 days ago. Not discounted now attentions switch to chasing.
Fairly useful on Flat/over hurdles but proved very easy to back following 3 months off and never on terms when sixth of 9 in maiden chase at Galway (18.2f) 25 days ago. This should reveal more.
Fairly useful hurdler but handed a stiff-looking mark and he was below form twelfth of 19 in Galway Hurdle (16f, good to soft, 25/1) 23 days ago. No surprise to see him make a quick switch to chasing (successful only start in points) and he's worth a second look for in-form yard.
Poor hurdler. Eighth of 9 in novice chase (500/1) at Galway (18.2f, good to soft) on debut over fences 25 days ago, tailed off. First run for yard after leaving Peter Fahey and he's very hard to make a case for.
Winner only start in bumpers in France and solid record over hurdles for present stable, deservedly off the mark in maiden company at Gowran (2m) in October. Very good third of 15 in handicap hurdle at Navan (16.2f) a month later and he's interesting now chasing back from 9 months off.
Maiden pointer who offered little only start in bumpers. However, did show something switched to this sphere prior to unseating 2 out in a Wexford maiden (19.6f) 17 days ago. Still, he's best watched in any case.
Dual winner last year and proved better than ever when winning 9-runner handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (17.8f) in June. Latest Galway effort best overlooked in isolation and interesting what the market makes of him now chasing with yard also saddling Addragoole.

Forecasts
Downmexicoway (15/8), Hashtag Pretender (15/8), Addragoole (7/2), Bright Legend (8/1), Tonaghneave Well (8/1), Sense The Tension (80/1), Glens Sensation (80/1)
An interesting beginners' chase with HASHTAG PRETENDER narrowly selected to come out on top. Barry Connell's 8-y-o built up a very solid record over hurdles last year and there appears no reason why he won't make an immediate impact now his attentions switch to larger obstacles. Tonaghneave Well, Downmexicoway and Addragoole are a trio of others meriting consideration.
