Fairly useful handicapper on Flat for Jane Chapple-Hyam. Sold for 34,000 gns and confirmed the promise he'd been in the process of showing on his hurdling debut when readily winning 7-runner C&D novice last month. Open to further improvement and could be up to defying a penalty.
Came good at the third time of asking over hurdles for current yard when seeing off 5 rivals in 2½m Sedgefield maiden in May. Progressed again when narrowly denied over C&D later that month and ran too badly to be true at Pontefract on most recent Flat start.
Diamond Boy gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Whistle Stop Tour, stays 3m. Dropped away as though all might not have been right with him in a Carlisle bumper 10 months earlier and it's concerning he's had another breathing operation ahead of this return to action.
Useful at best on Flat (stays 1¾m) but down the field in handicaps last 5 starts, folding tamely in first-time blinkers at Haydock on most recent outing. Comes with risk attached on this switch to hurdling.
Fair 1½m Flat winner for William Haggas who showed similar form when off the mark in this sphere in a C&D novice in June, aided by the weak finish of the favourite. Well held on handicap debut last time but good claims if bouncing back returned to novice company.
Fairly useful maiden handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m), respectable fourth on stable debut last time. Could go well on hurdling debut providing he stays.
Little promise in bumpers (first 2 starts for Brian Ellison) and is easily opposed on hurdle debut.
Maiden Irish pointer (0-9) and has shown nothing both outings over hurdles.
Made it third time lucky in Irish points in April and shaped better than the bare result when fifth in a Hexham bumper. Showed an aptitude for hurdling prior to being pulled up on C&D hurdling debut but folded tamely and can only be watched at present. Has had a breathing operation.
Point winner who shaped quite well when fourth of 17 in Aintree bumper for John Dawson in April. However, beaten a long way both hurdle starts for current yard and needs this run for a handicap mark.

Forecasts
At Vimeiro (11/8), Bittalemon (9/4), Hamlet's Night (7/2), Celestial Reign (9/1), Out On Her Own (18/1), Intinso (20/1), Diamond Trilogy (66/1), Mornington Beach (100/1), Ada's Day (125/1), Cross Of Redmoor (200/1)
AT VIMEIRO quickened clear in good style considering the sapping conditions over C&D last month, a performance which suggests he's up to defying a penalty, not least with further improvement on the cards. Bittalemon is likely to pose a big threat back in novice company, while Celestial Reign and hurdling newcomer Hamlet's Night can battle it out for minor honours.
