Got off the mark over fences at Southwell in October and stepped up on recent efforts with cheekpieces enlisted when third of 5 in handicap chase at Newton Abbot (16.3f, good, 15/2) 47 days ago. Remains 2 lb above last winning mark but a repeat gives him claims eased in class.
Fair maiden on Flat and left previous jumps form well behind when running out an easy winner on second chase start at Southwell (15.8f) in June. May of found an 8-day turnaround catching him out when fifth at Stratford next time and no surprise to see him bounce back following a break.
6-y-o who has yet to get his head in front but matched previous best when runner-up at Bangor (17.3f) in May. Not in same form when fourth at Southwell a month later but undergone wind surgery since and too soon to be writing him off. Interesting if market vibes are positive.
Made an excellent start over fences for new yard this season, completing hat-trick over C&D in June. Seemingly not himself when pulled up at Market Rasen (17.2f) 32 days ago and he's worth another chance to get back on track returned to less testing conditions.
Dual hurdles/chase winner for Toby Lawes who came in for support and returned to form in first-time blinkers when winning 10-runner handicap chase at this course (20f, good) 27 days ago, driven clear. Threat to all if backing that up here.
Remains a maiden but posted a career best when runner-up over hurdles at Ffos Las (20f, heavy) in November. Disconcerting he folded quickly on each of his 2 starts earlier this year so subsequent break/return to chasing needs to have positive effect.
Modest hurdle winner for Nicky Henderson who has tumbled down the weights and benefited from refitted tongue tie when opening chase account at Stratford (17f) in June. Followed up in good style over extended 19f there 38 days ago and a 5 lb rise ought to see him competitive again in hat-trick bid.
Quirky sort who ended a losing run over C&D last summer but much more miss than hit since, sixth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good) 26 days ago. Needs to step up if he's to figure back over larger obstacles.
Sprang a surprise over C&D last summer but mixed record since, running poorly at Market Rasen (17.2f) 32 days ago, tailed off when pulled up 4 out.
Lost his way in Ireland and no promise in 6 starts for current connections, well held last of 6 behind re-opposing Boom Boom at Stratford (19.5f) 38 days ago, folding 2 out. Has plenty to prove at present.
Veteran who ended a long losing run in a very weak race off a career-low mark at Fakenham (16.3f) in June and ran at least as well in defeat when third in handicap at Uttoxeter (2m, good) 6 weeks ago. Definite claims of being in the mix again from his lowly mark.

ROCKS UP LATE made a fine start for the Ben Pauling yard earlier this term, completing a quick-fire hat-trick in good style over C&D in June. Clearly not himself when pulled up at Market Rasen 32 days ago, this low-mileage 5-y-o looks well worthy of another chance to get back on the up and earns the vote. Boom Boom has been resurgent in recent weeks landing back-to-back Stratford handicaps and he's next best. Alshadhian and Zacony Rebel are others worth a second look.
