C&D winner in June and backed in up with a very good second of 13 in handicap (10/1) at Goodwood (6f, good to firm) 20 days ago, staying on well. Merits consideration.
Pulled up (reportedly lost action) in handicap at Chepstow 11 days ago. Yet to fire this season but his mark has come down as a result.
Maiden winner in Ireland at 2 but no impact in sprint handicaps at Sandown and Windsor for new yard this year. A first-time hood (replacing cheekpieces) needs to have a positive effect.
Went close on 6f Chester reappearance in May. Hasn't beaten a rival in 2 subsequent outings but his latest one back at Chester can be ignored (badly hampered over 1f out and eased). No shock were he to bounce back with a bang.
Latest win at Nottingham in May. 6/1 and hooded first time, last of 6 in handicap at Lingfield (5f, good) 16 days ago. Back up in trip. Others are more persuasive.
Lightly-raced winner. Runner-up in 6f handicaps on first 2 outings this year and a first-time hood (which is quickly discarded) possibly switched him off too much when only seventh of 12 at Doncaster since. Remains unexposed.
Winner of 3 handicaps this season, the latest over 5f at Thirsk (good to firm) in June. Respectable second of 5 at Yarmouth (6f, good) later that month. Freshened up since. Could resume his progression.
Back on form with a bang when completing a fast-ground course hat-trick at the end of June. Couldn't make it 4 in a row at Newbury at the beginning of July but given a break after that busy spell and can show he's still on a good mark back at a track which brings out the best in him.

Forecasts
Under The Twilight (2/1), Shiplake (7/2), Thunder Blue (9/2), Lequinto (6/1), Blue Anthem (15/2), Diligently (10/1), Sanat (25/1), Lightning Bear (28/1)
LEQUINTO struck up an excellent partnership with Matthew Lloyd Slater here at the start of the summer and this course specialist is still favourably treated on his peak form back from a short break. Under The Twilight is another with a C&D win to her name this summer and is second choice ahead of 3-y-os Diligently and Blue Anthem.
