Ballintubber Boy^t,v⁷¹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-13| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 125| C| D

7/4

Boasts a good strike rate over hurdles. Second in small-field handicaps at Ludlow on first 2 outings over fences but his jumping let him down in a slightly deeper race at Perth since. Needs to eliminate the errors.

7/2

Notched back-to-back victories over 21f at Hereford this spring. Also posted respectable efforts at Newton Abbot and Uttoxeter last month but he is running from 4 lb out of the handicap here.

Form: 41-1P45

Forecasts

Topgun Simmy (11/10), Ballintubber Boy (7/4), The Gypsy Davey (7/2)

TOPGUN SIMMY has performed with credit in an ultra-competitive handicap hurdle at Galway since getting off the mark over fences at Kilbeggan last month and is taken to prove too strong for Ballintubber Boy, who has the ability to win off this mark but has looked a bit clumsy with his jumping since switching to chasing.
