Second in 16f handicap at Redcar in July and went one place better returned to hurdling a week later. Could manage only third of 7 in handicap at Nottingham (1/1) 14 days ago, disputed lead early but weakened after being headed 3f out. Blinkers back on and he could easily bounce back.

Had been badly out of sorts before springing a surprise in 5-runner handicap over 18f at Musselburgh (18/1) 13 days ago. Was well positioned in a falsely-run affair so has to now back that up.
|
Confirmed the promise of his runner-up effort in a 12f course handicaps when narrowly going one place better at Hamilton (9/4) 28 days ago, deserving extra credit having refused to settle away from front-running tactics. May be capable of following up returned to 2m.

Showed improved form when upped in trip, winning a 7-runner handicap at Nottingham (14f) 14 days ago with visor, making good headway and edging ahead in final furlong, providing winner with very rare turf winner these days. Unexposed and now raised in distance again.

Chillhi (13/8), Sea Master (85/40), Rupert The Prince (9/4), Red Force One (12/1)
SEA MASTER got off the mark with a gutsy success at Hamilton, showing determination despite not settling with slightly different tactics employed. Returning to 16f could unlock further improvement so he's taken to follow up. Rupert The Prince showed much better form when upped in trip to win at Nottingham (Chillhi in third) and may offer most resistance.
