Continued the excellent work upon joining James Owen, recording win number 3 of 2025 at Beverley in June. Easy to excuse latest Yarmouth run (posted wide from a poor draw) so he's fancied to bounce back.
It's now 16 runs since his last win in 2022 and having performed creditably on the AW for this yard, he may have needed the run back on turf returning from 4 months off at Newmarket 3 weeks ago, slowly away.
Got back on track when landing a 6-runner Lingfield handicap (1¼m, heavy) in June and quickly back in good nick when faring beat of those held up in a steadily-run race at Sandown 17 days ago. Likeable veteran should give it another good go.
Built on his reappearance when landing 17-runner handicap at York (10.2f, good) in June, suited by way race developed. 4 lb rise asks for more but he's clearly in excellent order.
Had a productive 2024 but yet to add to tally this year. Tongue tie on and always behind starting out for Kevin Frost at Wolverhampton 10 days ago. This will reveal more.
Shaped as if still in top form when 4¼ lengths third of 20 to Dawn of Liberation in handicap at York in June but was disappointing over the same C&D a month ago. Yet to win a handicap.
Winner at Newbury (10f, good to firm) last month, form that was boosted by the runner-up since. Ran well in a higher grade next time when fourth of 5 in handicap at Newbury and latest second at Epsom confirms he's in good order.
Has had the odd issue out of the stalls but that wasn't the case when making all in a 6-runner contest at Ayr last month (1m). Up 8 lb and ran a cracker when second over the same C&D 3 weeks ago. Back up in grade/class here.

Gincident (3/1), Titian (7/2), Yokohama (9/2), His Finest Hour (5/1), Big Sip (5/1), Bint Al Daar (6/1), Born Ruler (6/1), Penelope's Sister (8/1), Gaassee (14/1), Croeso Cymraeg (50/1)
This looks open, with GINCIDENT taken to get back on track for James Owen with his latest effort in a stronger handicap than this at Yarmouth last time easy to excuse. Low-mileage 4-y-o His Finest Hour arrives in good order and looks a big player. York winner Titian is another to consider.
