Won over C&D on heavy ground last October and again shaped well when second of 13 in a handicap back here prior to finishing a good third of 6 in handicap at Doncaster (8f, good to firm) 27 days ago, caught further back than ideal. Plenty to like about his chances.

C&D winner. Latest win at Southwell in February. but found run of good form coming to a halt when eighth of 10 in handicap (14/1) at Wetherby (8f, good to firm). Remains to be seen if he can bounce back following a break.
|
Ran creditably with reappearance under his belt when respectable third of 12 in handicap at Kempton (8f) 64 days ago. Down to a feasible mark and should give another good account.
|
Had been shaping better than his form figures suggest on the all-weather prior to disappointing back on turf when sixth of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to soft, 15/2) 12 days ago. Tongue strap refitted and ought to be competitive at this level if bouncing back to form.
|
Had been out of sorts this season but has fallen to a handy mark and turned in his best effort of the season with the benefit of a good position when second of 6 in handicap at Carlisle (6.9f, good to soft, 11/4) 62 days ago. Has a chance if he can back up that effort returning to 1m.

C&D winner when off the mark here in May and has matched that form in recent starts, briefly looked a threat when second of 8 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good to firm) 34 days ago. Should give another good account.
|
Fair maiden for George Boughey and probably found the race coming too soon (6 days after finishing runner-up over 6f at Leicester) when last of 11 in handicap at Wetherby (7f, good to firm) 59 days ago. Back up in trip on first run for new connections but will need to improve to open her account.

Seen to excellent advantage against the favoured stand rail when a winner at Chepstow in May but below form next time when fifth of 6 in handicap at Yarmouth (8f, good to firm, 7/2) 49 days ago. Neil Callan takes over in the saddle but has a bit to find on bare form.

Dream Pirate (9/4), Ravishing Beauty (11/4), Mini Mac (7/2), Law Supreme (11/2), Between Me And U (6/1), Naval Academy (6/1), Dovey Moon (8/1), Pay Attention (10/1), Soames Forsyte (16/1), Sixteen One (50/1)
Very competitive but DREAM PIRATE likes it here and shaped well when runner-up at Doncaster earlier this month, having been caught further back than ideal. He's narrowly preferred to Ravishing Beauty who is thriving at present, winning comfortably at Pontefract 13 days ago and she should go well again. Of the rest, C&D winner Pay Attention has some solid form at this level, while Between Me And U has slipped to a feasible mark and is capable of being competitive in this company.
