Jax Belle

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Tom Cannon| T: L Wadham

12/1

Jack Hobbs mare. Sister to useful hurdler Jax Junior. Dam placed in bumpers/well held sole start over hurdles. Trainer’s newcomers command respect.

Form:

Eliot Girl

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: James Bowen| T: J Tickle

33/1

Sans Frontieres filly. Closely related to useful hurdler Harvard Guy. Te stable is 0-13 in bumpers in the last 5 seasons.

Form:

Grey Aquila^t1

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: G Sheehan| T: Miss J S Davis

33/1

Related to winners but changed hands for only £1,000 as a 4-y-o and a watching brief is advised with a tongue tie fitted for debut.

Form:

Grizzled Squirrel⁶¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Caoilin Quinn| T: G & J Moore

4/1

13/2, fifth of 9 in bumper at Fontwell (2¼m, good) on NH debut 61 days ago, running green. Should be more clued up this time. Player.

Form: 5

Knolton Park²¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: B S Hughes| T: D Loughnane

40/1

Twice-raced maiden. 25/1, fifth of 6 in bumper at Bangor (17f, good) 21 days ago. Brian Hughes takes the ride again but others are still preferred.

Form: 75

Little Lady Rock¹⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: S Bowen| T: R Potter

11/8

Promise when runner-up in bumpers at Newton Abbot (Masked Mistress behind in third) and over C&D this summer. Likely to figure prominently again.

Form: 22

Masked Mistress⁵¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Cobden| T: J & S Best

7/1

Masked Marvel filly who showed a bit of promise when third (Little Lady Rock second) of 6 on Newton Abbot debut 7 weeks ago. Harry Cobden takes the ride again. Enters the reckoning.

Form: 3

Ms Cindy Kate

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Danny McMenamin| T: N G Richards

12/1

Shirocco filly. Dam, poor maiden hurdler, sister to fairly useful hurdler (2m-2¾m winner) Leave At Dawn out of hurdle/chase winner up to 2½m Hannigan's Lodger. Trainer enjoys plenty of first-time-out bumper success. Market confidence would look significant.

Form:

Mystery Nituna³⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Reed| T: Kieran Burke

80/1

66/1, no obvious short-term promise when seventh of 12 in bumper at Worcester (2m, good to firm) on debut 30 days ago.

Form: 7

Sincerely Me⁷⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Jack Tudor| T: Christian Williams

25/1

£10,000 purchase soon after finishing alone in her sole start in points (May 11). The betting should help guide to expectations.

Form: 1

Yanka Blue³⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Shane Fenelon⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs A M Thorpe

33/1

Unseated in point bumper. 13/2, hinted at ability when sixth of 12 in bumper at Worcester (2m, good to firm, 13/2) on NH debut 30 days ago, racing keenly in the lead until over 2f out.

Form: U6

Forecasts

Little Lady Rock (11/8), Grizzled Squirrel (4/1), Blue Topaz (11/2), Masked Mistress (7/1), Ms Cindy Kate (12/1), Jax Belle (12/1), Sincerely Me (25/1), Yanka Blue (33/1), Grey Aquila (33/1), Eliot Girl (33/1), Knolton Park (40/1), Hidden Star (50/1), Ada's Day (50/1), Mystery Nituna (80/1)

GRIZZLED SQUIRREL shaped encouragingly amidst greenness on her Fontwell debut and gets a narrow vote over Little Lady Rock and Masked Mistress, who are quite closely matched on last month's Newton Abbot form. Ms Cindy Kate and Jax Belle are 2 newcomers who would enter the reckoning if the betting speaks in their favour.
