Winner at Sedgefield in February and ran at least as well in defeat subsequently, shaping well over C&D when third in a well-run 10-runner 0-120 handicap 54 days ago, going with zest for a long way back from 11 weeks off. Remains of interest now dropped into a 0-100.
Primarily campaigned as a chaser in recent seasons and had been struggling back over hurdles this year prior to stopping the slide when midfield in a 23f Worcester handicap earlier this month. Remains to be seen if he can take advantage of his falling mark with James Bowen again aboard.
In and out this season and ran poorly in first time visor when pulled up in a handicap hurdle (12/1) at Market Rasen (20.6f, heavy) 15 days ago. Was competitive from higher marks than this last season but needs to bounce back.
Successful between the flags in 2024 and positive enough start over hurdles when placed in maiden/novice company here last summer but has ran badly subsequently, including on chase debut here on Saturday.
Well backed and duly built on previous promise under forcing tactics when a dominant winner here (17.2f) on Saturday. Could be dangerous turned out quickly under a penalty if seeing out the longer trip.
Looked to have been campaigned with handicaps in mind but was off the bridle a long way out when well held on handicap debut at Tipperary (25f) in May. Needed early reminders but ran much better when third in a Tramore novice over this sort of trip later that month. Needs more back in handicaps.
Shaped like a stayer on hurdle debut in November 2023 but absent for 17 months prior to this season. Showed a bit more than on her belated comeback here but was well held on handicap debut at Hexham last month. Improvement needed.
Shaped well in two starts under this amateur jockey in recent months, outpaced turning for home but kept on to finish fourth in 6-runner handicap at Fontwell (21.8f) 41 days ago, for all he would have benefitted from stronger handling. Cheekpieces on and looks up to defying this sort of mark.
Ran much better than on handicap debut when runner-up in a 6-runner handicap at Southwell (24.2f) last month, while again not looking the most straightforward. Could go well if headgear (cheekpieces/tongue-tie) has the desired effect.
Stayed the trip better than expected when third (one place ahead of subsequent winner Dusky Days) over C&D 22 days ago. Low mileage and entitled to be in the mix on the back of that effort.

Forecasts
Dusky Days (10/3), Popa Rich (7/2), Rioja Alta (4/1), Myfavouritesister (6/1), Findthetime (15/2), Coup De Gold (10/1), Final Edgar (16/1), Positive Mindset (25/1), Perfect Poli (28/1), Sky Luna (40/1)
Plenty in with a chance but RIOJA ALTA has some solid form in the book since winning at Sedgefield in February, including a creditable third over C&D in a 0-120 handicap in May and he appeals most dropping down in grade. Dusky Days was a decisive winner here on Saturday and could prove the main danger if seeing out the longer trip under a penalty, while recent runner-up Myfavouritesister isn't the most straightforward but may yet do better for the fitting of headgear.
