Fairly useful 15f winner for Andre Fabre in France last summer. Never threatened in pair of Flat starts for new yard in the spring but more like it in landing 2 of his 3 starts in maiden/novice hurdles in recent months. Could yet get back on the up returned to this sphere. Tongue tie added.

Three-time winner last season who hasn't yet fired in 2 starts this season, last of 7 in handicap at Newmarket (14f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Needs to show more before becoming of interest.
Scored at Haydock (16.2f) in May. Unsuited by way race developed at Sandown next time but found his finishing effort flattening out tamely when fourth of 8 in handicap at Chester (15.9f) 21 days ago. Lines up just 1 lb above last winning mark now, however.
Typical improving staying handicapper for this yard, doubling his career tally with blinkers fitted in 5-runner handicap at Pontefract (12f, good) 11 days ago, closed down final 100 yds and always holding on. Needs considering again now his stamina is tested further.
Found improvement, in first-time cheekpieces, when winning 7-runner handicap here (11.9f) in June. Stepped up again despite not being seen to best effect when second of 8 in handicap at Chelmsford (13.3f) 18 days ago and very much of interest again with further progress in the offing.
13/2 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, fifth of 7 in handicap at Haydock (11.6f, good to firm) 15 days ago, unsuited by drop in trip. This sort of test promises to be much more to his liking and he's another worthy of a second look.

Forecasts
Analogical (15/8), Belgravian (2/1), Kentucky River (5/2), The Grand Visir (8/1), Simiyann (16/1), Merrijig (16/1), Pergamon (25/1), Arcon (50/1)
This can go to one of the trio of 3-y-o's, with course scorer BELGRAVIAN fancied to come out on top for the Andrew Balding stable following a very encouraging second under the circumstances at Chelmsford 18 days ago. Kentucky River ought to appreciate this stiffer test, whilst Sir Mark Prescott's steadily improving Analogical is another key player on his first crack at a marathon trip.
