Seemingly flattered when gaining latest success at Southwell in March, a race that fell apart with 2 of the first 3 in the betting failing to complete. Well held next 2 starts, but took to this track well when second of 8 to Judicial Review recently and may well feature with a repeat.
Little show in 3 hurdles starts for Ben Lund, but won twice between the flags last spring and on a roll switched to fences for new yard, making it 3-4 in handicap chases with a tidy all-the-way success at Bangor (3m, good to firm) in May. Up 9 lb but he probably has more to offer in this sphere.
Narrow winner of a handicap chase over C&D last summer but it was a low-key 2024 otherwise. However, he shaped much better than the distance beaten suggested on return at Hexham in May and can have a line put through his latest effort over C&D, pulled up after bad mistake thirteenth.
Modest form at best over hurdles and has failed to complete in a couple of beginners chases. Upped in trip for handicap debut and this Irish raider could well prove a different proposition.
Back-to-back winner at this track in summer 2023 but it was a struggle for the most part of last year. However, step back in right direction off reduced mark when third over C&D on return in May but failed to build on that recently, finding less than looked likely. 1 of 2 for this yard.
Winner here (21f) last summer on only his second outing over fences and having disappointed on his first couple of outings this season, bounced back to form after just 2 days off when winning 8-runner handicap chase over C&D (soft) recently, dictating. Obvious claims from 4 lb higher.
Dual hurdles winner, but record stands at 0-14 in this sphere and, though runner-up 5 times over fences, he again looks vulnerable. Cheekpieces reapplied.
Still a maiden but produced best effort to date over fences reverting to more positive tactics when 3½ lengths third of 12 to Ballydangan in handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f, good to soft) 5 weeks ago. Again out of the handicap but dangerous if able to build on that.
Twenty-nine runs since last win in 2019 and tailed off back over timber at Perth recently. Back chasing but it almost goes without saying he makes very limited appeal.

Bumpy Evans (11/10), Jelski (13/2), Judicial Review (13/2), Mr Mcwhinny (8/1), Euchan Falls (10/1), Ali Star Bert (11/1), Lights Are Green (12/1), Ballydangan (12/1), Iturgeon Du Breuil (22/1), Thatsy (33/1)
BUMPY EVANS hasn't looked back since attentions were turned to chasing for new connections and with further progress in the pipeline, Tim Vaugan's 7-y-o can record an impressive 4-timer returning from a short break. Ali Star Bert seemed suited by the idiosyncratic nature of this track when runner-up last month and he rates as the main threat, while recent C&D winner Judicial Review and Mr McWhinny can do battle for third.
