Point winner in May and looked better than ever back under Rules when scoring easily at Southwell (24.3f, good) in June. Stiff task from out of the weights in Summer Cup at Uttoxeter 20 days ago, so no surprise to see him bounce back returned to this level.
Confirmed previous promise over fences when opening his account in novice handicap chase at this C&D (heavy) 22 days ago, all out having kicked on home turn. Could make another bold bid now that he's up and running.
Has been going the right way over fences, making it 2 wins from 3 starts when scoring at Southwell in June. Didn't seem as well suited by more positive tactics when second of 4 at Hexham (15.6f, good) last time, but could get back on the up over this longer trip.
Course regular who won a brace of handicaps at this track (both at 17.3f) in a 4-race campaign in 2024/25. After 9 months off, respectable fourth of 6 here (soft) in May and he's likely to be sharper for that run. Enters calculations back down in grade.
Not straightforward and hasn't won since chase debut, but made it back-to-back placed efforts this season when third at Perth (20.1f, good to soft) 16 days ago, despite early mistakes. Capable of getting involved, though others still more persuasive.
Successful 3 times here last season and built on recent promise when recording another C&D victory 22 days ago, scoring by 17 lengths on heavy going. This is tougher up 8 lb but he could go well again at this venue.
Bumper winner who landed a double in novice hurdles in 2023. Pulled up on handicap debut and then off 20 months, but good third at Ffos Las on return before making an impressive winning chase debut at Hexham (24.2f, good to soft) in May. Leading contender.
Over 2 years since last win and often flatters to deceive, again finding less than looked likely when runner-up at Hexham (20.1f, good) last month. Could be in the mix but may just prove vulnerable to his younger rivals.
Maiden Irish pointer but off the mark at third attempt over hurdles in mares' novice at Carlisle (19.3f, soft) in February. After 4 months off, too free when sixth of 7 in handicap here (25.4f, good) in May. Needs to resume progress as she goes chasing.

River Of Joy (3/1), Sean Og (10/3), No But I Will (6/1), Cloughroe (7/1), Do No Wrong (10/1), Cuzco Du Mathan (11/1), Beny Nahar Road (12/1), High Moon (12/1), Vroomoz Eile (14/1), Dalyotin (14/1)
Making second start back from a lengthy absence, RIVER OF JOY won with something to spare on chasing debut at Hexham in May and she can go on to better things over fences. She remains lightly raced for her age and is taken to see off the challenge of Beny Nahar Road, who could still have more to offer upped in trip. Cuzco du Mathan completes the shortlist.
