Signed off for Olly Murphy with back-to-back wins at Southwell in March and over C&D in May but ran no sort of race on debut for new yard here last month.

Ended lengthy losing run, back from 5 months off, when taking 6-runner handicap chase at Worcester (20f, good to soft, 17/2) 54 days ago, driven clear. 4 lb rise fair and can make presence felt again.

Let down by his jumping at Bangor latest but had made a winning chase debut in Stratford handicap (22.6f) previously and can't be ruled out here.

Taken well to chasing, scoring 3 times (at up to 25.1f) this year, and ran creditably in defeat when fourth of 6 over C&D (good, 6/1) 17 days ago. May be in handicapper's grip now, however, unless first-time cheekpieces can unlock further improvement.

Bagged this contest (off 1 lb higher) last term and should be straighter for recent return from 7-month absence at Stratford. Respected.

Improved on hurdles form when winning 8-runner handicap chase at Worcester (20f, good to soft, 14/1) on debut over fences 34 days ago. This is more competitive but he may have more to offer in this sphere yet.

Down in the weights and bounced back to form in no uncertain terms when taking Worcester handicap (20f) in September 2023, cruising clear. Fourth from revised mark over a fortnight later but off the track since, so well-being is an unknown.

Back from 7 months off when last of 6 in handicap chase at Stratford (22.6f, good) on debut for new yard 29 days ago, folding as if amiss. Plnety to prove now. Hooded for first time.
