A dual 23f hurdles winner in 2023/24 but came in a remote last of four in 3m handicap hurdle at Ffos Las after 20 months off in May. Well backed but found wanting for experience switched to the larger obstacles at Southwell last month and now more severe headgear is employed.
4-time hurdle winner (latest in August 2023) who shaped better than on his return without suggesting he's about to recapture his best form when fourth at this course (23.3f, good) last month. Sole previous attempt over the larger obstacles was a shocker and he'll need to raise his game.
Fairly consistent in handicaps at the back end of last year but shaped as though amiss returning from 4 months off when stopping quickly at Southwell in April. Fared better when fourth at Warwick (21f, good) the following month and now attentions are turned to chasing.
Fair maiden hurdler who progressed again to get off the mark on just her third start over fences at Newton Abbot (25.8f, good) just over 3 weeks ago, proving tenacious having been up with the pace throughout. 4 lb rise looks fair and she should make a bold bid to follow up.
Lengthy losing run but has been in good order over timber recently, folding run-in when fifth at Market Rasen (23.1f, good to firm) last month. Potentially well treated if building on that back over the larger obstacles.
Still to win but arrives in good nick, finding one too strong for the third time from 5 starts over fences in 14-runner handicap at Worcester (23f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Knocking firmly at the door so merits serious consideration.
Belatedly opened his account in a first-time tongue strap when making all at this track (3m) in May. Probably remained in form from 4 lb higher back here last month (typically carried head awkwardly) but others more persuasive on balance.
Hasn't set the world alight under Rules (0-18 overall), but he dotted up on his debut between the flags following a year off in May and produced an excellent effort from 6 lb out of the weights when second in 8-runner handicap chase at this course (24f, good) recently. Player with a repeat.
Prolific winning pointer who matched the form of her chasing debut in first-time cheekpieces when 6¼ lengths fourth of 10 to Side Stepper in handicap chase at this course (24f, good) in May. More needed to open her Rules account here, though.
Remains a maiden under Rules and ran respectably without ever posing a threat when fourth at Worcester (23f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. 1 lb out of weights here and others more appealing.

Karavomylos (4/1), McGregors Charge (5/1), Lucky Rose (11/2), Mini Fortune (6/1), Side Stepper (6/1), Thais Toir (15/2), Lelantos (11/1), Faerie Cutlass (12/1), Unspeakable (14/1), Deadly Missile (16/1), Zoffalee (20/1)
Plenty in with a squeak but the vote goes to MCGREGORS CHARGE, who continues to shape well in defeat (has finished runner-up on 3 of 5 starts in this sphere) and this increase in trip could unlock that bit extra required to open his account. Lucky Rose heads up the opposition on the back of her recent Newton Abbot success, with Thais Toir and Zoffalee taken to fight out minor honours.
