Saints Kidz Community Football Handicap Hurdle

Won 3 bumpers in succession before winning a maiden hurdle at Sedgefield (20f). Seemed beaten on merit when fifth of 9 in novice hurdle at Thurles (8/1) on most recent start in December when upped in trip. Worth another chance on handicap bow given bumper form.

Improved to land a double here last summer, including this race, and raised his game another notch when belying odds of 50/1 in a valuable contest at the Punchestown Festival in April. However, that big effort perhaps left its mark as he hasn't been competitive both starts since.

Gained a deserved success at Catterick in March and has remained in good form since, still in with a chance of picking up a fourth career success when coming down at the last at Warwick last month. Big player if none the worse.

Has shown inconsistent form with long gaps between races, though had excuses at Kilbeggan last month (hampered and unseated eighth). Sean Bowen is a positive booking, however, and yard's runners here always worth a second look.

Showed the benefit of his reappearance when winning over C&D 10 days ago, pulling clear with the runner-up. Must be considered up 5 lb.
