Has been transformed by his recent stable switch, making it 2 wins from as many starts for current yard in 6-runner handicap hurdle at Huntingdon (15.8f, good to firm, 9/4) 43 days ago, cruising clear. Not taken lightly in hat-trick bid.
Fairly useful but ungenuine on Flat (stays 1½m). Has shown fair form at best in this sphere, second at Fakenham (2m) last time, suited by emphasis on speed.
Sings of ability for Paul Webber and, well backed, made a mockery of a modest mark when taking 9-runner handicap over C&D (good to soft) on first start for current yard 33 days ago, plenty in hand. Likely to progress further and has excellent chance of following up.
Twelve runs since last win in 2023 and was well held on the back of his chasing debut fall at Bangor (17.4f, good to firm, 16/1) 52 days ago. Should fare better back hurdling but is prone to mistakes.
Low-mileage 6-y-o who jumped right when fourth of 5 on his handicap hurdle debut here (2½m, heavy) on latest start in November. Dropping back in trip here on better ground may help, but it's surprising that he's kept to a left-handed track in view of his propensity to jump right.
4-time C&D winner but operating below his best at present, finishing 17 lengths adrift of Crystal Mer in C&D handicap on most recent outing.
Likeable type who showed a different side of his game as he toughed it out back chasing under more testing conditions in 9-runner handicap at Cartmel (17.3f, soft) 9 days ago, driven out. Has to be respected back over hurdles.
Maiden who showed no ill-effects of a recent fall when second of 7 in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (16.6f, good to firm) 18 days ago. This looks a stronger race, however.
Little promise in bumper/3 novice hurdles. Sold from Clive Boultbee-Brooks £3,500 in May. New yard have a habit of improving horses from low bases in handicaps, so worth a market check.

Crystal Mer (8/15), Turpin Gold (9/2), Pittsburg (7/1), Battle Of Omdurman (12/1), Ambassador (18/1), Piecederesistance (18/1), Northern Rose (18/1), Monticello (40/1), Lahire (40/1), Holy Legend (40/1)
CRYSTAL MER had plenty in hand when justifying strong support on his first outing for his current yard over C&D last month and looks certain to progress further and win more races. Turpin Gold is another who has been transformed by a stable switch and seems sure to go well in his hat-trick bid given the authority in which he scored at Huntingdon, while the in-form and likeable Pittsburg is also worthy of respect back over the smaller obstacles.
