Creditable latest effort on Flat and built on recent hurdles promise to win a 20-runner handicap hurdle (12/1) at Fairyhouse (20f, soft) 79 days ago. Veteran could be competitive returning to the Flat.

Fairly useful on Flat for Grant Tuer. Off the mark with his best effort to date when winning 7-runner handicap hurdle (5/1) at Clonmel (19.9f, good to soft) 32 days ago under this jockey. Respected on first start on Flat for these connections.
Back in form over hurdles when 22/1, respectable fifth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Cork (19f, soft) 79 days ago. Has ran well over this trip on the Flat previously and could be in the mix with tongue tie on first time.
Below form on Flat of late, 16/1, eighth of 11 in handicap at Limerick (17f, good) 27 days ago. Needs to improve on recent efforts but is only 1 lb above last winning mark now and interesting to see if market hints at a return to form.
3-time winner on Flat but could only match recent form when creditable sixth of 12 in handicap (18/1) at Ballinrobe (13f, good to soft) 15 days ago, albeit left with lot to do having been poorly placed. May need to step forward back up in trip.
Awarded the race in a 17.5f Flat handicap at Bellewstown in August. Back to form behind an improving pair over hurdles when third of 17 in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (23.5f, good) 30 days ago. Not discounted back over a staying trip on the Flat.
Winner at Navan in May over 13f and wasting no time getting back to form when second of 11 in handicap at Limerick (17f, good) 27 days ago, just failing. That was her best Flat run to date and she looks set to run another big race.
Not disgraced on the Flat for current connections this season prior to running below form at Navan (14f) last time. Handicapper has given her a chance if she can bounce back.

Forecasts
Makaiah (11/4), Empress Alma (9/2), Miss Gitana (5/1), Curious Bride (6/1), Walking On Glass (6/1), Oh So Charming (13/2), Lord Erskine (13/2), Sequoiaspirit (15/2), Drop The Anchor (22/1)
Competitive fare but LORD ERSKINE was right back to his best over hurdles at Fairyhouse in April and looks interesting returning to the Flat with a good value apprentice aboard. He appeals most ahead of Makaiah who resumed her progress when a narrow runner-up at Limerick last month, while Miss Gitana has been given a chance by the handicapper if she can bounce back over this longer trip.
