Won twice in Bahrain in January. Below form sixteenth of 28 in handicap at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm, 40/1) 17 days ago. Shouldn't be judged too harshly on that, but looks vulnerable under a big weight here.
Seven wins from 26 Flat runs. Latest win in Bahrain at the start of the year. 80/1, nineteenth of 27 in handicap at Royal Ascot (7f, firm) 19 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Ninth of 11 in handicap at Epsom (6f, soft, 22/1) 31 days ago and he's likely to find a few too good once again.
Bit below form eighth of 14 in handicap at Newcastle (5f, 18/1) 11 days ago. However, he was a good third off a similar mark on penultimate start at Epsom and this 8-y-o is one to consider with Tom Marquand booked.
C&D winner. Latest win at York in May. Creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at Epsom (6f, soft, 7/1) 31 days ago, nearest finish. Likely to be in the thick of things.
C&D winner. Below form eighth of 13 in handicap (11/1) at Chester (6.1f, soft) 24 days ago, merely closing up late. Given a chance by the handicapper and yard saddled the winner of this 12 months ago, so there is certainly cause for optimism.
Twenty-two runs since last win in 2023. Respectable third of 17 in handicap (8/1) at Newbury (6f, good to firm) 26 days ago, faring best of those held up. Solid chance off the same mark here.
Latest win at Thirsk in April. 4/1, respectable sixth of 19 in handicap at York (6f, good to firm) 24 days ago. High on the shortlist, for all that this is a step up in class.

Forecasts
Musical Touch (3/1), Rousing Encore (7/2), Spangled Mac (5/1), Rohaan (5/1), Badri (11/2), Aleezdancer (11/1), City House (16/1), Purest Time (40/1)
The vote goes to MUSICAL TOUCH, who has fewer miles on the clock than his rivals and has done little wrong since returning to action in the spring, scoring on his reappearance at Thirsk in April and since acquitting himself well in a series of competitive handicaps. Rohaan's losing run continues to mount but, at the same time, his mark continues to edge southwards and he rates the main danger ahead of Badri and Rousing Encore.
