Off time: 14:42 | Winning time: 5m 51.90s

Jimmy The Digger³⁴

Age: 12| Weight: 11-11| J: Alice Stevens⁽⁵⁾| T: H D Daly| OR: 112

25/1

Veteran who bounced back from a couple of below par hunter displays when second in one at Ludlow in April. Struggled back in handicap company next time, however, and others more likely.

Form: 27U62-3

Bagheera Ginge^p⁴⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-11| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR: 112

17/2

Hard to predict nowadays and ran badly on belated return to hurdles 6 weeks ago after 7 months off. On a career-low mark at least.

Form: PP257-7

Au Fleuron^p,t1²⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: Miss Aimee Jones⁽⁷⁾| T: M Comley| OR: 110

100/1

Winning pointer but has little chase form under Rules. Tongue strap on for 1st time.

Form: 53P0-R3

No No Maestro^p,t²⁷

Age: 10| Weight: 11-6| J: J J Burke| T: F O'Brien| OR: 107| CD

4/1

Fairly useful at best and all the better for belated return when second at Fontwell last month. Respected.

Form: 166/6-52

Golden Ambition^b³²

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: Kielan Woods| T: B Pauling| OR: 106| D

5/1

Fairly useful dual hurdles scorer who made a decent start over fences when third at Uttoxeter last month. Entitled to build on that.

Form: 1129-43

I'm A Starman³⁰

Age: 12| Weight: 11-4| J: S Bowen| T: M G Rimell| OR: 105| CD

5/4

Likeable veteran has never been better, overcoming another rise to complete 4-timer here last month, once again seeing out the race more stoutly than the runner-up. Makes a belated return to fences now but is potentially well treated in this sphere.

Form: 401-111

Fever Dream^t³³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Jack Tudor| T: Christian Williams| OR: 103

5/1

Much improved on back of a wind op when getting off the mark over fences at Southwell in April. Stamina gave way in the closing stages upped to 29f at Fakenham next time but suffered an irregular heartbeat when pulled up at Newton Abbot since.

Form: 3561-3P

Forecasts

I'm A Starman (5/4), River Of Joy (3/1), No No Maestro (4/1), Fever Dream (5/1), Golden Ambition (5/1), Nickelforce (7/1), Bagheera Ginge (17/2), Jimmy The Digger (25/1), Au Fleuron (100/1)

RIVER OF JOY is low mileage for her age and looks one to keep on the right side of judging by her impressive chase debut win at Hexham 8 weeks ago. Nickelforce continues to shape well and is next best ahead of the thriving veteran Jimmy The Digger, who's on a potentially handy mark on his belated return to fences.
