Big improver for current yard over 7f on AW, including a Wolverhampton listed win in March. Not seen to best effect when sixth in Abernant Stakes next time and whilst not in same form either start since, he had soft ground as a plausible excuse latest. May get back on the up returned to handicaps.

7-y-o is a credit to connections, winning the valuable International at Ascot (7f) last summer. Not scaled same heights in 4 starts this term but latest seventh in Buckingham Palace Stakes at the Royal Meeting was a solid enough display. Respected from steadily easing mark.
Acquired for €145,000 on the back of success in a 7f German maiden last summer. Gelded/had breathing operation ahead of return but he produced an underwhelming display when last of 27 in Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot (7f) 16 days ago. Interesting Tudhope keeps the faith.
Grand servant to connections who is at his best when the mud is flying and highlighted he's coming to the boil when good third of 12 in handicap at Epsom (7f) 4 weeks ago, caught further back than ideal. Clearly down to a competitive mark but conditions may well be livelier than ideal here.
Triple winner at 3 yrs and ran right up to form when third at Wolverhampton (7f) in January. May of needed first start for 5 months when eighth of 13 in handicap at Chester (7f) 5 weeks ago and connections quick to opt for refitting of a hood. Better showing anticipated.
Winless since a C&D Group 3 success 2 years ago and has left the impression he's merely ticking over in 4 outings so far this season, finishing tenth of 28 in Wokingham handicap at Ascot (6f) 2 weeks ago. Eased further 2 lb ahead of this but others appeal more.
Steadily progressive in handicaps last summer, the first leg of a 7f hat-trick coming over C&D 12 months ago. Best effort of present campaign when fifth at Chester (7f) in May (strong form) and had tricky draw as it went when midfield in big-field Ascot handicap 16 days ago. Worth a second look.
Winless since a C&D success in 2024 but produced some fine efforts in defeat and returned with a very good second over C&D in April. Backward step at Chester a month later but he's been given a break ahead of this and no great surprise to see a better showing.
Useful colt who was third in the Grp. 2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood last August. Off 10 months/had wind surgery, showed definite promise when sixth of 13 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) 7 days ago, running on late having met with trouble. Still unexposed at 7f and return to this trip promises to suit.
Won 2 of his 4 starts for Tom Clover in 2024 and sound start for new yard, matching his reappearance form with the aid of a good position when third of 10 in handicap at Newbury (7f, good to firm) 23 days ago. No reason why he won't give another good account.
Expensive to follow (over 3 years since last win in Temple Stakes) but hard to knock his consistency, taking third close home having met with trouble in handicap at Chester (6.1f) 21 days ago. Stays this far but suspicion is he will find a few too good again.

Gorak (9/2), Cerulean Bay (11/2), Photosynthesis (11/2), Northern Express (6/1), Bobby Bennu (8/1), Royal Zabeel (8/1), Intrusively (11/1), Rhoscolyn (11/1), Jumby (12/1), King's Lynn (14/1), Inside Matters (40/1)
This looks wide open and it could well pay to side with the sole 3-y-o in the line up INTRUSIVELY. His comeback effort at Newcastle (following 10 months off) contained definite promise last week, not least with a view to stepping back up in trip and he can take full advantage of his handy weight-for-age allowance. Royal Zabeel had excuses on account of the soft ground latest and he's of interest back in a handicap. Gorak and Northern Express are just a couple of others to consider.
