Fair gelding. 4-time course winner. Creditable second of 8 in handicap at this course (12.1f, good to firm, 13/8) 10 days ago, keeping on well. Drop in trip should be fine and while in good heart, this looks an above average seller.

Fairly useful gelding arrives in good heart despite it being seventeen runs since his last win in 2024. Only bettered by much younger rivals when good third of 12 in handicap at this course (7.4f, good to firm) 10 days ago. Respected in this company.

2-2 for his current yard on the all-weather prior to disappointing when sixth of 9 in handicap at Southwell (7.1f, 11/4) 64 days ago, slowly away. Has plenty to find with the best of these.

Doesn't find winning easy these days but retains ability, typically took a strong hold when creditable fifth of 10 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) 17 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Marked drop in class and change of headgear may see him end his losing run.

Doubled his career tally when winning a 4-runner Leicester claimer (7f, good) in May but struggled returned to handicap company at Newmarket 2 weeks ago. Will need to improve for the step up to 1m.

Off the mark (returned to her own sex) when winning 10-runner handicap at Carlisle (6.9f, soft) last month. Wasn't seen to best effect when upped in trip in a first-time visor 2 days later and with headgear now discarded, she should be more competitive dropped into selling company.

Forecasts

Tropez Power (5/4), Orbaan (2/1), Toy Soldier (13/2), Sands Of Indi (8/1), Dr Rio (16/1), Reginald Charles (22/1)

Verdict

This looks better than an ordinary seller and while he has his quirks, TROPEZ POWER is the highest rated of these and may be able to end his long losing run in a change of headgear. Fellow class-dropper Orbaan looks a clear next best having been performing well in handicap company, while Sands of Indi wasn't seen to best effect last time and could be more competitive here.
