Made the frame all four starts over hurdles, proving consistent rather than progressive. Chased home a subsequent winner when second in a novice hurdle (16.7f) at this track 28 days ago, pulling clear of the third (who improved next time out). That form looks solid and she should take the beating.

Showed some ability in bumpers and was well backed on hurdles debut at Southwell in May but spent too long in the air over the hurdles and finished well held. Will need to sharpen up her jumping but no surprise if she proves more competitive over this longer trip.

That form looks solid and she can get off the mark at the expense of Taktique Gagnante who was well-backed on hurdles debut and could improve second time up over the longer trip. Point winner Dothejive is an interesting contender on her first start under Rules and while Pearl Smoke needs to improve on hurdles debut, she does hail from a good yard.
