Low-mileage 8-y-o who has been holding his form well in this sphere and bright start over larger obstacles when second of 4 in handicap at this course (20.3f) 4 weeks ago. Returns to hurdles holding definite claims again.

Made a very good start from a low base for Olly Murphy, adding a third success to her tally at Perth (26.6f) in May. Solid second returned to 3m there 26 days ago, that despite a few errors along the way. Mark has crept up further but there's more races to be won with her this term. Player.

Back to his best when striking on return from a 2-month break here (19.6f, soft) in April. Matched that form when runner-up at Uttoxeter a month later and may have found race coming too soon when weakening quickly at Hexham since. Can bounce back.

Best effort since making her belated comeback when second of 16 in handicap hurdle (25/1) at Kilbeggan (24.4f, good) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces worn then now replaced by visor and respected for Irish yard who are no stranger to success on these shores.
|
Finally opened his account over fences at Huntingdon (23.6f) a year ago. Very hit and miss thereafter but comes here in good nick over hurdles, making the frame at Plumpton/Huntingdon in May. Overall strike rate does temper enthusiasm but respected as an in-form sort.
|
Still looking for first success and yet to fire for this yard, beaten before 3 out when fifth of 7 in handicap hurdle at Fakenham (20f, good) 33 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time but best to concentrate elsewhere.

HAPPY INDEX has made an excellent start for Olly Murphy, already recording 3 victories since last summer, and further success beckons judged on her good second at Perth on her latest outing 26 days ago. She's expected to make a bold bid to defy a career-high mark, with veteran Irish raider Tango Theatre, and Lune de La Mer, who has been holding his form well over both sets of obstacles, the dangers.
