Capable sort on his day and got back to something like his best for switch to Nicky Henderson last season (landed a double in October). Disappointed on final start for that yard in December and again well below best on stable debut at Chepstow (2m) in February. This can reveal more.
Fairly useful staying handicapper on Flat for Michael Appleby who has made a smooth transition to hurdling, not extended when defying a penalty when making it 2-2 in a Fakenham novice (2m) 4 weeks ago. Interesting now handicapping with further progress anticipated.
3-time hurdle scorer who arrives fit from pair of in-the-frame efforts in handicaps on Flat at Nottingham/Chester in recent months. Remains 3 lb above last winning mark back in this sphere but he's certainly not discounted.
Fairly useful Flat performer who won novice and handicap hurdles around the turn of the year. Good second on Flat prior to a lesser display in Queen Mother's Cup back at York (11.8f) 15 days ago but no surprise to see a better showing returned to this sphere.
Back on the scoresheet with cheekpieces refitted at Doncaster (20.8f, good) in March. Form has proved rather up and down since, sixth of 11 in handicap back on the Flat at Carlisle (14f) 13 days ago. Others preferred returned to this sphere.
Useful handicapper at best on Flat (stays 1½m) and arrives here on the back hurdle victories at Stratford/Warwick last month. Assessor now applies further pressure but respected nevertheless in hat-trick bid.
Made a good fist of things over hurdles last summer, bagging his second victory in novice at Worcester (2m) in July. By no means disgraced in pair of handicaps thereafter and he returns from 8 months off now with his yard in good order.
Multiple winner for Tom George and back to form for current stable last year, landing a Market Rasen handicap in September. Returned from a break in good order, a blunder 2 out not aiding his cause when fifth of 6 in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (20.6f) 27 days ago and he's one to bear in mind.
Another to make a bright start for this yard, landing a third success since March at Fakenham (2m) 4 weeks ago. Good second on Flat prior to a rare below-par display back over hurdles at Hexham (16.2f) 2 weeks ago and he's a likely candidate to bounce back.

Maghlaak (5/2), Howth (7/2), Tara Iti (9/2), Oslo (6/1), Bannister (15/2), Time Interval (11/1), Jumeirah King (12/1), Legendary Day (14/1), Ashington (25/1), In The Air (28/1)
A fairly useful performer on the Flat, HOWTH built on his hurdling debut victory when following up with plenty to spare at Fakenham at the start of the month. Appealing as the type to go on improving now handicapping, he's very much of interest in his bid to complete the hat-trick. Maghlaak returned to this sphere, Bannister and fellow hat-trick seeker Time Interval are others boasting definite claims.
