Often starts slowly. Winner at Wolverhampton in April and back on track when respectable third of 6 in handicap at this C&D (good, 5/1) 28 days ago, not ideally placed. Tongue strap on first time and should be competitive with a reasonable break from the stalls.

Thirteen runs since last win in 2024. Not disgraced in a couple of turf handicaps prior to losing all chance at the start (with cheekpieces on for first time) at Brighton (7f, good, 33/1) 19 days ago, very slowly away. Will need to find some improvement to win this.

Winner at Kempton in February. Again wasn't the strongest at the finish when respectable sixth of 11 in handicap at Wetherby (7f, good to firm, 7/1) 26 days ago, still going well 2f out but headed final 100 yards. Cheekpieces she wore that day are retained and she may go closer in a weak race.
Left behind previous form when off the mark on second start in handicaps (down in grade), dominating from the front to land an 8-runner handicap at Yarmouth (7f, good) 17 days ago, kept up to work near finish. Should go well again.
Fair maiden who shaped as if better for run when third of 11 in handicap (10/1) at Wolverhampton (7.2f), looking slightly awkward under pressure. Not in same form with cheekpieces on first time (retained) when switched to front-running tactics last time. Could be competitive if bouncing back.
Seems much better on all-weather than turf and fared no better under a change of tactics and cheekpieces (now discarded) when seventh of 11 in handicap at Bath (8f, good to firm, 33/1) 14 days ago. Best to look elsewhere.
Offered something to work with in maidens and stepped up on her seasonal reappearance when third of 13 in handicap (17/2) at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Could have more to offer over this longer trip.

CLAIM THAT SMILE may prove the most solid option here, having showed improved form when winning at Yarmouth earlier this month. He can follow up at the expense of Penelope Valentine who could well be up to winning a race of this nature on turf but needs to see out her race better, while On a Vespa could step forward again now tackling 7f.
